FAQ
Which devices are compatible with AKCELL Mobile?
Commercial off-the-shelf smartphones running Android 10 or later, without root access. The KPIs exposed depend on the modem and on the permissions granted. Advanced KPIs — MCS, rank, BLER, RRC and NAS signaling — come from test-device diagnostic traces, analyzed in AKCELL Analyzer.
How is an indoor campaign carried out?
The floor plan of each level is imported into AKCELL Mobile and calibrated on two reference points. The route is defined in advance — façades, circulation areas, stairwells, elevators — and each waypoint is placed on the plan. In AKCELL Analyzer, the walk is replayed on the plan and colored by KPI; dominance and the margin over the best neighbor are read zone by zone.
Are measurements sent to a server?
No. AKCELL Mobile records sessions on the device, and the fleet communicates locally, between devices in close proximity. AKCELL Analyzer processes traces on the user’s workstation. Only the network tests (with the test servers) and the base map (with the map tile server) exchange traffic; no measurement is sent to them.
Do you offer services?
Yes: preparation and execution of measurement campaigns, indoor acceptance testing, analysis of existing traces with an expert report — root cause, recommendations and corrective action.
