FAQ
Questions about this solution
Is voice quality measured?
AKCELL Analyzer reconstructs VoLTE calls and IMS registrations from the SIP messages, reads the call release causes and estimates perceived quality from the transport (loss, jitter, delay) using the ITU-T E-model. Standardized perceptual methods (ITU-T P.863), which require recording the audio signal, are not offered.
Are measurements sent to a server?
No. AKCELL Mobile records sessions on the device, and the fleet communicates locally, between devices in close proximity. AKCELL Analyzer processes traces on the user’s workstation. Only the network tests (with the test servers) and the base map (with the map tile server) exchange traffic; no measurement is sent to them.
How can I get a demo?
From the Contact page, specifying your need: drive testing, indoor acceptance testing, trace analysis or quality of service. The demo is preferably run on your own traces, otherwise on demo data.

An end-to-end measurement campaign
The four steps of a campaign with AKCELL: prepare the fleet, measure (measurement screens, network tests, indoor), analyze in AKCELL Analyzer down to the root cause, then deliver the report.

VoLTE: reading a call in the traces, from precondition to release cause
